Cookie is the matriarch of our head. She is a beautiful 9 yrs. old Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goat with a great temperament. Cookie has won countless ribbons as well as Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goat Grand Champion senior doe two years in a row and Grand Champion Senior Dry doe last year at the Piscataquis Valley Fair. She has also won a star from the AGS one day milk test in 2008 for the quantity and quality of her milk. Cookie is a wonderful milker, giving our family delicious milk and cheese products. She has a nicely attached udder. She is Joy's and Rosie's mother.
We have decided to retire Cookie. She has a hard time with winter now that she is older and we feel that the stress of pregnancy may be too much for her. She is happy just being Grammie Cookie to all of her Grand Kids.
